Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he wants to keep Ryo Miyaichi at the club this season.
The Japan international is the subject of fresh loan interest from Feyenoord.
But Wenger told arsenal.com: "My plan is to get a work permit for him and to put him on the pitch for Arsenal Football Club."
If Miyaichi's work permit is rejected, he is likely to return to Feyenoord.
