Arsenal have made Arsene Wenger the highest paid employee at the club on £115,000-a-week.
The Mirror says the Frenchman's three-year contract extension is said to pay him £6million a year, ensuring he leapfrogs Cesc Fabregas as the Gunners' highest-paid employee. The midfielder earns £110,000 a week.
The agreement, which gives Wenger a higher salary than rivals Sir Alex Ferguson and Roberto Mancini of Manchester United and Manchester City, is also reckoned to include a bonus should Arsenal reach the Champions League group stage.
Wenger is now the second-highest-paid Premier League boss, behind Chelsea's Carlo Ancelotti. He earns £6.5million a season and will get a £1m bonus if Chelsea win the Champions League.
