Wenger gives Arsenal midfielder Elneny all clear for World Cup

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that his Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny will be ready for the World Cup.

Elneny suffered an injury during the 4-1 win over West Ham, where he was taken off the field on a stretcher.

But the injury is not as bad as the Gunners fans had first feared.

Wenger said: "Elneny has a little, little chance to play at Huddersfield.

"I think he will be available for Egypt at the World Cup but not anymore for Arsenal."

It is great news for the player and his country. Egypt will be hoping to make a big splash at the World Cup, especially with the form of talisman Mohamed Salah.
