Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists William Gallas hasn't played his last game for the club.

Gallas is out for the season with a knee injury and Wenger said: "Gallas has another year of his contract to go and I envisage he will still be with us next season.

"He will not have an operation and is usually a quick recoverer.

"But if he's back before the end of the season, it will be a major surprise.

"It is a big blow for William and a big blow for the team because he is an important player."
