Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes his current squad have the "special hunger" to win a trophy this season.
The Gunners currently sit top of the table.
Arsenal have not won a trophy since the FA Cup in 2005 and Wenger said: "The feel-good factor is down to the quality of the spirit in the team, the solidarity of the players and their desire to do well. We are a team that looks to be successful and for that you need a special hunger and I believe that these players have it.
"For our confidence, it is good [to be scoring goals] and being in the position we are and knowing we have room for improvement is, of course, a good feeling.
"I believe you can improve. What makes a top level team is that search for improvement and I believe that collectively, the way we win the ball back and the use of the ball offensively, we have room for improvement."
