Arsene Wenger is confident he has the support of the Arsenal board. The FA Cup was the last trophy Wenger won, beating Manchester United on penalties back in 2005.

Yet the Frenchman claims he does not feel under any extra threat, despite the sackings of top-flight rivals Big Phil Scolari and Tony Adams.

Wenger said: "I have shown a lot of faith - in many special circumstances - to the club. I enjoy it and I appreciate the confidence I have from this club."
