Arsene Wenger believes that confidence and a lack of concentration are to blame for his side's disappointing away defeat at Swansea.
However, Arsenal suffered a 3-1 defeat at Swansea, which has severely dented any hopes of finishing in the top four Premier League positions. Wenger had a lot to say about the manner and reasons for the defeat.
"Maybe after a while it becomes a confidence problem as well, but overall it's easy to put it down to confidence and tonight it's very difficult to find a rational explanation behind our performance," he said.
"Well, you can always explain defeats by that you know [lack of concentration]. What I meant by that was that in decisive moments we have been beaten. Especially the first goal, the second goal, the third goal… you cannot say they were absolutely unstoppable. At our level you need to win the decisive fights."
