Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will play Denilson tonight in their Carling Cup tie against Sheffield United.

Wenger maintains Denilson is one of the most underrated players in his squad and has tied up the youngster on a new five-year deal.

He told Arsenal TV Online: "Yes Denilson has been overlooked [recently], but he is a fighter and he will appear during the season.

"He played some great performances last season and I personally believe that he has made steps forward.

"He must keep his head up and not feel sorry for himself. He is still the youngest player here and he already has experience. At the moment he gets fewer chances, but will change for him."
