The Arsenal chief is just about to start his 11th full season in charge but his contract only runs until the end of it. During his pre-match press conference on Friday, the 57-year-old suggested his future would be sorted out "soon".

Later on he was asked precisely what that meant.

"Soon is soon," he replied with a smile. "I do not want to be unsettling. I'm highly committed to the Club, I have shown that many, many times in my life. I don't think anybody can question that."
