Arsenal can handle Champions League elimination tonight at AC Milan, insists manager Arsene Wenger.
"I believe that no matter what happens we'll have a lot to go for," Wenger said. "We'll still have the league to go for, but I'm confident that after this game we'll have the Champions League as well to go for."
Indeed, with Arsenal announcing half-year profits of £20million last month - and the club budgeting for reaching only the group stage in any case - defeat this evening in the Champions League would not be a financial disaster.
