Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits Tottenham are a threat to their top four status this season.

Spurs sit comfortably inside the Champions League places after their 9-1 victory over Wigan on Sunday.

"Of course they are competition for us. Why not? Every year they are competition for us," Wenger told arsenal.com.

"There are 10 teams who are genuine top-four contenders. As much as Tottenham you have Aston Villa, Manchester City, plenty of teams who are top-four contenders."
