Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits Leicester City ace Riyad Mahrez slipped through his French scouting net.

The 24-year-old has contributed 14 goals and 10 assists this season, remarkable figures for a player Wenger admitted he had no heard of before his arrival in England.

“I didn't know him honestly, he played in the second division in France," Wenger said.
