Arsene Wenger admits Arsenal want him to take the squad on an overseas summer tour.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City have all gone far afield on money-spinning trips to try and crack overseas markets and Wenger has always suggested it leaves players tired for the start of the season.
But Wenger, talking at a question and answer session for shareholders last night, said: "I am under pressure from the club to do it. But I want to start the season well. If it's just to make money then no. If for other reasons, then maybe yes.
"We are examining it, but not in a year when the Euros or World Cup years. International players, under FIFA rules, must have four weeks' holiday."
