Wembley agrees six year partnership deal but retains name

A new multi-million pound partnership deal has been agreed between Wembley Stadium and communications giant EE, but the iconic venue's name will not be changed. A statement stressed: "The world-renowned name of the stadium will remain."

It is the first time Wembley has signed a lead partner and begins immediately, ahead of the Capital One Cup final on Sunday.

The deal will see 'technology road map' making enhanced 4G coverage, super-fast wi-fi and mobile payment solutions made available to fans who go to the venue.
