Wellington's McKain unsure over future

Wellington Phoenix defender Jon McKain admits he is not sure where his future lies. The 26-year old is weighing up whether or not to have another crack over in Europe or to return home to Brisbane where the Roar would quite happily take him.

"At the end of this season it's make or break time for me," McKain said.

"If I do want to go overseas again, and it's the right deal for me, then I'd have to really take it.

"But Brisbane's home for me ... which will obviously weigh into my decision. If it's not next year that I come home, it'll be some time down the track."

Brisbane Roar coach Frank Farina confirmed his interest in McKain despite the fact the two clubs face each other at Suncorp Stadium this weekend.

"He's still young and he's a very good player," Farina said of McKain.

"He's definitely a player I'd like to have."

McKain has previously played in Romania with National Bucuresti as well as Politehnica Timisoara.
