Wellington Phoenix defender Tony Lochhead will miss the next two matches after sustaining a groin injury.
The New Zealand international, who trialled with Middlesbrough last season, will be forced out of the Phoenix's two away clashes with the Perth Glory on Saturday and the midweek Round 19 fixture against the Melbourne Victory on Tuesday.
In Lochhead's absence, Ben Sigmund will likely be deployed as right-back as Troy Hearfield will cover the vacant left-back position.
The Phoenix are currently fifth on the A-League table and can really set themselves up for a tilt at the play-offs with positive results in both away matches.
