Wellington Phoenix midfielder Troy Hearfield has been suspended for the next two A-League matches.
Hearfield was involved in an incident with Sydney FC striker Alex Brosque in the 29th minute of the weekend's clash and found guilty of violent conduct, receiving a two-match ban as a result.
The 21-year old was also given a two-match ban after he was sent off in the 64th minute.
The independent Match Review Panel have proposed that the sanctions be served concurrently meaning Hearfield will only miss two matches in total.
He will be available for Week 1 of the A-League finals if the Phoenix are fortunate enough to make it.
