Wellington’s Caceres linked with Adelaide United
Wellington Phoenix winger Adrian Caceres has been linked with a move to Adelaide United.
The 28-year old Argentine-born midfielder comes out of contract at the end of next month and reports suggest that the Reds are on the trail.
Caceres joined the Phoenix in August last year after having his contract with the Central Coast Mariners ended by mutual consent and was a key player in the rise of the New Zealand-based side this season.
He has also played with the Perth Glory and Melbourne Victory in the A-League.
The Phoenix confirmed that discussions with Caceres were ongoing.
