Wellington Phoenix defender Jon McKain is on the verge of a move to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.

The 27-year old Australian is about to sign a two-year deal worth $1.5million according to reports which will enable him to link up with former Italian goalkeeper and current Al Nassr coach Walter Zenga.

It is believed Zenga scouted McKain when he was in Romania with National Bucharest and Politehnica Timisoara a few seasons back.
