Wellington Phoenix has emerged as the most likely destination for Brisbane Roar's Robbie Kruse.

The 20-year old has fallen out of favour at the Roar since being involved in some late night incidents after enjoying a brilliant 2007/08 season in the A-League.

Kruse's contract with the Roar expires at the end of the season and the club has yet to indicate if it will be renewed .

It is believed that the winger will travel to Wellington to hold talks with Phoenix officials.
