The Wellington Phoenix are being linked with a move for Brazilian striker Magno Vieira.

The 25-year old begins a trial period with the A-League club this week as the Phoenix look to add strength to their playing list.

Vieira commenced his professional career in England with Wigan Athletic in 2003 and has since had stints with lower league clubs such as Northampton Town, Carlisle United, Barnet, Crawley Town, Cambridge United, Wycombe Wanderers and most recently Ebbsfleet United.
