Wellington Pheonix goalkeeper Liam Reddy is happy to be out of Brisbane Roar. Like Craig Moore, Reddy had no time for recently appointed coach Ang Postecoglou.
'It was like going to the dentist, and let me tell you I don't like going to the dentist, and that's why I got out,'' Reddy told the Herald.
''In regards to 'Moorey', you'd probably have to ask him why he left but I'm not surprised. For me, I needed to get out for my football career and because I needed to be playing. Now I'm really happy to have gotten out of there and to have made the decision to come to Wellington.''
Reddy is on a short-term deal with the Nix and insists it's no guarantee he will move to Sydney FC in the winter.
'I'm not [necessarily] going to Sydney FC next year. I'm in discussions with a couple of clubs, and I'll be sitting down with them in time,'' he said. ''I will be moving back to Sydney for family reasons but obviously Newcastle and Central Coast aren't far away, so they're options as well. Whatever happens, I'm hoping it will be finalised in the next couple of weeks.''
