Wellington keeper Paston injured at training

Mark Paston has sent a scare through the Wellington Phoenix camp by limping off the training pitch today.

The New Zealand international received a heavy knock to his thigh during training this morning and will need to take all necessary precautions if he is to get up for the trip against the Roar in Brisbane this Sunday.

Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert is confident that the 32-year old will get up for the important away fixture but if he doesn't, youngster Reece Crowther will be called on to take the gloves.
