Danny Welbeck admits Sunderland rely too heavily on Darren Bent for goals.
The Black Cats have hit just seven goals in eight games this season.
England striker Bent has notched five of those to maintain his record of scoring more than half the club's league goals since his arrival 14 months ago.
After Monday's blank at Blackburn boss Steve Bruce urged his side to help Bent out.
And England Under-21 star Welbeck, who is yet to break his duck on loan from Manchester United, said: "We can't keep relying on Darren. Everyone has got to chip in."
