Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck admits he's backing Sunderland to beat his parent club.
Welbeck will not be in Sunderland's squad for the game due to Premier League loan rules.
He said: "I just wish I could play - and if I did I would want Sunderland to win obviously," said Welbeck. "Man United are my parent club and I want them to do well this season, but I'm at Sunderland day-in, day-out this season and I already have a feeling for the club.
"Playing in these big games is what I came to Sunderland for and it will be a bit frustrating to have to watch."
