Arsenal have been hit by new player contract blows.

The Times says Arsenal stars Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey have brought a halt to contract negotiations until Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez's futures are sorted out.

Welbeck and Ramsey both have just over a year remaining on their deals and the Gunners could face a similar situation with the pair to what they are enduring now with Sanchez and Ozil if they do not tie them down by next summer.

Both players are thought to be willing to stay, but only once others pen new terms to convince them that the Emirates is the place to be moving forward.
