Rangers captain David Weir is confident new contract talks will be straightforward and easily agreed. "I don't think there will be any problem agreeing a new deal," the 39 year old told the Evening Times.
"I haven't spoken to the manager this week because I have been on a coaching course.
"But before the end of the season he gave me the option of staying on for another year and I want to take it.
"There is a willingness to reach an agreement from both parties."
