Former Everton defender David Weir hopes new club Rangers get drawn against his old side in the Uefa Cup.

"It's not worked out yet but it would be nice," he said. "Maybe the final. We'd win it!"

The Scotland international played 269 games for Everton in eight years at Goodison Park.
