League OneSheffield Wednesday have agreed a loan with Stoke for winger Ben Marshall until January. The 20-year-old signed for the Premier League side in 2009 having started his youth career with Manchester United and then Crewe, but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Potters.
"This is a great opportunity for me, it was an easy decision to make," he said following his loan switch to Hillsborough. "My main position is a winger but I can play in the hole and up front. Hopefully I can bring some goals as well.
"I have played in front of big crowds before and I'm really looking forward to doing that here."
