West Bromwich Albion have released first-team coach Terry Burton to join the staff at League OneSheffield Wednesday. Burton was working on a short-term contract at Albion but now leaves to rejoin new Owls boss Dave Jones at Hillsborough.
Burton previously worked under Jones at Cardiff for seven years.
Baggies boss Roy Hodgson told the club's official website:
"Everyone at the club realised he is closely linked with Dave Jones and that if another job with Dave came up, it would be Terry's priority to join up with him again.
"But it's been very useful for us to have the benefit of Terry's experience and coaching knowledge.
"We're grateful for the time Terry has been with us and we wish him all the best for the future.
"I am convinced he will do an excellent job at Sheffield Wednesday." "I would like to thank Terry for coming in and being such a big help to both myself and the rest of the coaching staff.
