Andy Webster was delighted with his goal scoring performance for Rangers in their victory over Gretna on Saturday.
Webster said: "That was a big step in the right direction for me. I was a bit nervous as I haven't played competitively for so long but I have confidence in my own ability and I know I am a decent footballer.
"It has been extremely tough but now it is about looking forward and remaining focused. It was difficult being injured but people have serious injuries in football. Mine was a bit complicated and it took a while to get to the bottom of it.
"But running out in front of 50,000 people makes it all worthwhile. Although maybe I haven't had the matchtime, the level and intensity of our training sessions means if anything I am probably fitter than I may have been."
