Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has admitted to being keen to take two targets from France and Belgium on trial, reports the Birmingham Mail. McCarthy has not named the players concerned, although he has been linked with Richard Soumah and Fode Mansare in recent weeks.
Former Rennes winger Soumah, 23, plays for Guingamp in the French Second Division, while 28-year-old Guinean international striker Mansare plays for Toulouse.
"If the opportunity arises we'd like to have a look at a couple of lads from France and Belgium, but the weather has just jeopardised all of that," said McCarthy, who did not specify whether he will be able to resurrect the trials.
"We have looked to try to get a couple in, but we can't (yet) see them in training."
