Weah: Galatasaray v Chelsea. Drogba v Eto'o. Great moment for African football

George Weah says this week's Champions League encounter between Galatasaray and Chelsea will be a great moment for African football.

Leading Gala will be former Blues striker Didier Drogba, while Samuel Eto'o is now in prime form for Chelsea.

African legend Weah told the Daily Mail: "The players are friends. They're also both very intelligent footballers who are ambassadors for African soccer. People say Drogba is powerful and strong, and he is. But both are explosive in the tactical game and good off the ball.

"They've got different qualities. Eto'o is a roaming player, more technical, more skilful than Drogba. He loves to participate and be [available for his team-mates] in the wider game. Eto'o is the more tricky player."
