Celtic skipper Scott Brown has refuted manager Ronny Deila's claims that the Hoops were frightened in the Champions League play-off second leg at Malmo.
Brown insists that the squad Hoops squad just didn't turn up for the 2-0 defeat in Sweden which knocked them out of the reckoning for Europe's premier club competition 4-3 on aggregate.
He said: "I wouldn't say we were scared. We've played in bigger stadia with more atmosphere. We just didn't turn up on the day.
"We showed in the first game we are a better team and that we can create chances and play at a high tempo.
"We didn't do that in the second leg. In the end, we didn't do ourselves justice."
