Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that Olivier Giroud was back to his best in the 2-2 draw against Manchester City on Sunday.
The France international, who had last scored in the league on January 13, scored Arsenal's first equalising goal with a lovely header before providing an assist for Alexis Sanchez to tie it up at 2-2 at the Etihad Stadium, prompting words of praise from Wenger.
"He had a great game, his best for a while," said Wenger on Sky Sports.
"He was sharp and focused, we have seen the real Olivier Giroud.
"He has not had that sharpness for the last few games but strikers go through up and downs and you never know when they will score or not."
