The Hoops have cut the deficit at the top of the Scottish Premier League table to just four points with five wins from their past six outings and Kayal is confident they can bridge the gap with Old Firm rivals Rangers even further by the end of the campaign.
"Last season we played the best football in the country and we showed that to everyone. It has taken time to come together this season, but the gaffer is now doing that very well,” he said.
"We looked to win the league last season but didn't do it. I hope this season everyone can do their best to win everything in the country and do well in Europe.
"We are coming back to the right way. I am sure we can play the best football because we have the best squad and the best players in this country."
