Steven Gerrard was full of praise for the cities that hosted Liverpool during their pre-season tour.
The Reds finished their trip to Asia and Australia with a 3-0 victory over Thailand on Sunday and skipper Gerrard was over the moon after playing in front of more than 200,000 people in Jakarta, Melbourne and Bangkok.
"We couldn't ask for more. It has been a really good trip," he told LFC TV.
"It's been very successful from obviously a financial point of view - the turnout we've had at every stadium has been superb - but for fitness reasons and also team spirit."
He added: "You only have to look at the level of support we have everywhere we go.
"It just goes to show how big this football club is and how privileged we all are to be a part of the first team.
"We can send a message out to every group of fans in Indonesia, Australia and Thailand - a big thank-you from all the players and staff."
