West Ham United's co-chairman David Gold insists the club is very sorry to lose goalkeeper Robert Green.
The England number two goalkeeper failed to agree terms on a new deal with the promoted Hammers but Gold is confident he will be a great signing for whichever club is lucky enough to get him.
"We wish him well, and wherever he goes I'm sure he will be a great servant to that club.""We did our very best and we're very sad that we have lost Robert," Gold told Sky Sports.
