We are making ourselves hard to beat - Man City defender Clichy

Manchester City left-back Gael Clichy believes that the Citizens have become a harder team to beat in recent weeks.

The Manchester club put in a spirited performance to beat Sunderland 1-0 at the Stadium of Light to keep on the coat-tails of league leaders Leicester City.

Clichy feels that winning in such a manner is not a problem for City as long as their are extremely difficult to defeat.

"We need to make ourselves hard to beat and that's what we did tonight," Clichy said after Sergio Aguero scored the only goal of the clash.

"Three points are three points – what we're trying to do is take every game as it comes and see how it goes. When you come to somewhere like Sunderland and keep a clean sheet and win it's really satisfying.

"We have Leicester on Saturday, so let's make it count and get those three points again."
