Watzke says no Dortmund move for Man City's Dzeko - 'We develop young players'

Borussia Dortmund general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke has dismissed suggestions that the club is set to sign Edin Dzeko from Manchester City.

There have been reports that the German champions were showing considerable interest in the unsettled Bosnian striker but Watzke has played that notion down.

"Anyone who really believes that a player from Manchester City would be transferred to Borussia Dortmund hasn't understood the BVB business model. Our motto is to develop young players," he told Sport 1 when asked if Dzeko was on his way in the summer.
