Watt targeting St Mirren as Celtic also prepare for Barcelona

Celtic young gun Tony Watt is not quite gunning for Barcelona as he looks to the domestic league this weekend.

The Scottish champions take on St Mirren in the Premier League on Saturday before heading to the Nou Camp on Tuesday for a tasty Champions League clash with the Catalan giants on Tuesday but Watt is not yet targeting that fixture as there are more immediate issues at Parkhead.

"We'll be prepared for Barcelona as much as we can, but the main focus is St Mirren," said the teenage striker.

"The Barcelona game is not in view just now, it's St Mirren.

"You need to do well in the league to be in the Champions League. We need to beat them and then focus on Barca.

"There's no point in losing games in the SPL and winning in the Champions League. You need to get a balance.

"Hopefully we can do well in both."
