There was no champagne celebration for Wigan Athletic's FA Cup heroes last night.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez had imposed a champagne ban on his players, insisting they could celebrate properly if, and only if, they remain in the top division.

Matchwinner Watson denied the champagne ban would take the fizz out of the team's celebrations.

"We'll enjoy the coach journey back to Wigan, but there'll be no champagne," he said. "We've got two massive games in the next week and we need to focus on winning them."
