Watford winger Steven Berghuis is delighted to have helped Feyenoord win the Eredivisie title.

The Holland international, who joined Feyenoord on-loan this season, is happy his decision paid off.

"I have sacrificed a lot of money returning to Feyenoord, but it is worth every penny," he said after victory over Heracles Almelo.

"Now I feel appreciated.

"I have to say that I have underestimated a year of not playing football. It needs time. From the winter break I felt it all coming back. I am very pleased with the second half of the season.

"I have played almost every game."
