Watford are willing to offload Alessandro Diamanti in January.

Udinese are keen to take Diamanti off Watford's hands during the winter market and TMW says Hornets boss Quique Sanchez Flores is open to the idea.

However, Watford want to find a replacement before allowing the Italy international to make the move.

Only last week, Diamanti insisted he was happy at Vicarage Road, though admitted he is down well down in the midfield pecking order.

"It's going very well, I have to climb the hierarchies a bit of the coach, but in my career nothing was simple and I love challenges.

"I'm so happy," he said.
