Watford are believed to be showing considerable interest in Udinese midfielder Almen Abdi.

The 25-year old Swiss player, who is of Albanian descent, has emerged as a target for new Hornets boss Gianfranco Zola according to Sky Sports.

Abdi joined Udinese from Le Mans in 2010 but has struggled for regular game time in Italy and is now being linked with a summer move to the Championship.
