Watford on trail of ex-Dundee Utd midfielder Buaben

English Championship club Watford are believed to be close to signing free agent Prince Buaben.

The 23-year old Ghanaian midfielder is out of contract after his deal with Dundee United expired at the end of last season and could become a Hornets player after undergoing a medical at Vicarage Road.

Recent reports suggest that Watford are in a great position to land the former Ajax youth academy player who joined the Tangerines in 2007 and made over 100 appearances during his time at Tannadice.
