Watford are set to make a January bid for Nottingham Forest skipper Henri Lansbury, according to Sky Sports.
Forest have recently turned down a £2.5million bid from division rivals Derby County for the midfielder, who has only six months left on his contract.
However, it appears that the former Arsenal youth is keen to play in the Premier League and could prefer a move to the Hornets.
The 26-year-old spent the 2009/10 season on loan with the Hornets while he was still an Arsenal player.
Lansbury joined Forest from the Gunners in 2011 and has scored 33 goals in 150 appearances for his current side.
