New Inverness boss Terry Butcher has confirmed the club are close to striking a deal to sell midfielder Don Cowie to Watford. The 25-year-old has already put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement with a view to joining the Hornets in the summer.

He told BBC Scotland: "The clubs are on the verge of agreeing a financial deal."
