Hull City are set to secure the services of Matej Vydra from Watford on a season-long loan deal.
Hull are currently negotiating the sale of Nikica Jelavic to West Ham United and the impending departure of the Croatian international leaves the Tigers short on numbers in attack.
As a result, Tigers manager Steve Bruce has been in the market to sign a new striker and now according to reports from The Sun, the Humberside club are on the verge of securing the services of Czech talent Vydra from Watford on a 12-month agreement.
Hull are expected to pay £1.5million for the services of Vydra but they are likely to face competition from the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion, Bristol City, Sheffield Wednesday and Reading for the striker.
