Watford striker Ighalo turns down massive Chinese contract

Odion Ighalo claims to have turned down 'crazy money' from a major Chinese club to stay at Watford.

Watford accepted an offer of £10million from Hebei China Fortune for the striker but Ighalo has decided to stay in the Premier League to prove his worth.

"I love the fans and turning down the money shows that I want to work hard for Watford." said Ighalo, who has also had interest from two other Premier League clubs, but no bids have been made as yet.

26-year old Nigerian striker Ighalo joined the Hornets permanently from Udinese last October following an initial loan at Vicarage Road. He scored 20 goals in 35 Championship appearances during the Hertfordshire club's promotion-winning season.
